Volcus is Hiring an Account Executive (E-commerce Toy Industry) Near Corona, CA

Position: Account Executive,

Location: Corona, CA, onsite

Reports to: Sales Manager

Status: Non-Exempt

Salary: $25-30/ per hour, plus bonus potential

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Account Executive is responsible for increasing and driving sales through several methods including, but not limited to, managing e-commerce channels and B2B accounts. This position will lead client visits while building relationships with existing and potential clients. The Account Executive will attend and lead sales activities at trade shows, in-person meetings, and manage sales transactions, coordinating product launches, and all other sales activities.

Essential Functions

  • Drive sales transaction volume and maximize exposure by capitalizing on promotional opportunities and schedule seasonal campaigns/deals.

  • Coordinate launches of new products with the product manager to meet market and customer demand.

  • Build relationships with existing and prospective clients to demonstrate products and their features.

  • Recommend products to customers based on customers’ interests and needs.

  • Respond to customers’ inquiries about products, pricing, availability, product features, and credit terms.

  • Prepare estimates and quotes, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.

  • Enter sales information in orders along with allocation and managing the shipping process.

  • Provide follow-up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and proactively intercept before problems arise and include ongoing support.

  • Identify and connect with prospective customers using a variety of methods, including, but not limited to, business directories, leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

  • Monitor external market conditions providing an environment analysis of market trends, market conditions, product innovations, competitors’ products, launch strategies, pricing, and promotions.

  • Identify prospective customers and compile competitive data including product information, pricing, and anything that would reveal our products as a competitive advantage.

  • Perform administrative duties including preparation of sales budgets and reports.

  • Meet strict deadlines and respond in a timely and professional manner. Ensure all process timelines are met and up-to-date

Specifications/Qualifications

  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or any other field that is related. or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in e-commerce wholesale sales with demonstrative success.

  • Must have a results-oriented drive to achieve results by being persistent without being aggressive maintaining professionalism in all business transactions.

  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, (specifically VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, basic formulas, find and replace) and Google Sheets/Doc suite.

  • Strong communication and pleasant interpersonal skills that build effective relationships across all levels of stakeholders demonstrating good-natured and cooperative attitude.

  • Ability to negotiate effectively with customers in good standing while building relationships and reconciling differences.

  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written communication.

  • Must be honest, ethical, and have a high level of integrity.

  • Must be able to think critically, using logic and deductive reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Physical/Mental Requirements and Work Environment

This position is primarily sedentary working in front of a computer in an air-controlled environment. Frequent use of eyesight, fingering, and ability to sit for long periods is required. Mental capability is required to analyze, think, process information, and make sound logical decisions and judgments. Travel is required to trade shows and client visits, occasionally.
